Chloe loves silverware.
She'll hardly eat a meal without a fork or spoon in hand.
Her hand eye coordination has improved leaps and bounds in the month since turning one.
She loves putting pens into small holes. Or toys into cups and baskets.
Building blocks, well, we're working on the building part. She prefers to take apart mommy's creations.
One block at a time.
And her new favorite thing, reading books with mommy or daddy in the rocker, and pointing to each animal on the page. Sounds effects often included for the elephant or cow. Oh the cuteness.

Tonight we had french toast for dinner. She was doing well stabbing the syrup covered, bitesize pieces. But for some reason, wouldn't bite the toast off. Her preferred method of delivery: FINGERS.
Little stinker had fun getting sticky goodness all over her face, hands, hair... The best part was when she decided she was "finished" and started throwing the pieces on the floor for Charley to eat.
She sure knows how to get into mischief, but I really don't mind. Each day is another added to her development, and I love to see what she learns from experimenting with things like syrup. And gravity.
There's always baths.
