Because I made ours in a variety of ways, we are able to practice 1) following instructions, 2) learning different colors and shapes, 3) grouping like items together, and 4) counting. As in, "Chloe, find the:1 yellow circle / 2 triangles shapes / 3 green colored..."
5) They are good for practicing our under and over hand throwing as we aim for the bucket.
And lastly, 6) Chloe taught herself how to play "Hot Lava- Don't Touch the Ground" as she lined each bag up in two rows and walked on each one carefully down the hallway.
